Dear Fussy,
When I started the organising of my wedding I didn’t expect all of my family trying to get involved. It’s really getting to me and I appreciate their help but I’m under enough stress as it is let alone having to contend with everyone else’s preferences too. What can I say to them?

Organising a wedding is not an easy task and people think they are helping by intervening, however, it is your wedding day and you and your spouse need decide what you both want and not everyone else. They obviously care for you both and want you to have the best day , so you could delegate specific tasks to people to offload the amount of stress giving them jobs to do and to keep them out of your hair. Be firm with decisions you and your partner have made prior to delegating, then you know that you will not exceed any set budgets or wrong choices.

Hi I’m Lisa, and I have 4 bridesmaids who all want to wear different bridesmaid’s dresses. They are fine with the colour choice and theme but they all want different styles and I’m not too sure if they will all look silly. Help, I need some advice

Hi Lisa,
This is your Wedding Day and one of the biggest days of your life and you need to be happy and content. If they can’t all agree then you have a few choices. They are;
1, Ask them to step down from their role and ask other willing candidates.
2, Agree to let them have their way, at least they are all wearing the same theme and colour?
3, Take a vote.
4, As there are 4 ask 2 bridesmaids to wear the same, that way they come in matching pairs!
