Abroad Hair

Getting married abroad has become increasingly popular and most tour operators provide a package for your ceremony.
This would normally include flowers, buttonhole, cake, vows and sometimes, use of an onsite hairdresser.

As most of you know trusting someone else on your wedding day to do your hair who you have never met before can be a daunting experience and a little concerning, but fear not!

The hairdresser allocated to style you hair on the day would have dealt with numerous brides before yourself, but if you unsure then check with your hotel upon arrival to make sure you feel comfortable with your allocated stylist.

Perhaps booking yourself in for a trial run before the wedding day may be a good idea so that on the day itself you are comfortable with the final wedding hair look.

Before you travel, you could also try out a style here in the UK with your regular stylist or someone who is a wedding hair specialist. This way you can take pictures of the final style that you are looking to achieve and take them along with you when you go abroad.
This will also help you get a final idea on how comfortable your wedding hair will be.

Remember, if you are opting for a wedding abroad do bear in the mind the heat and humidity as this can affect your chosen wedding updo. If opting for a look with hair remaining down then this could possibly drop and fall out fast, due to the climate.

Flowers are so much more tropical and colourful abroad so it may be worth considering to have flowers in your hair rather than jewellery or even to replace a veil.

Make sure you get ready in an air conditioned room as this will mean a cool start to the wedding if you are based in a high temperature location.

This will also benefit you when having your hair done as if you are having hot rollers in your hair, then this will heat you up and arriving at the wedding cool calm and collected is better than sweaty, flustered and too hot.
