Colouring and Cutting
If you regularly have your hair coloured, we would advise to have you hair re touched up at least a week before the wedding ensuring the colour has time to settle, looks fresh, knowing that no roots will be on show.
If you decide to choose a different colour then it’s a good idea to choose this new colour quite a few weeks before the wedding day itself.
This way, if the colour you have chosen needs a little retouch this can be done, and this does also help if the specific colour or final look is not how you imagined it.
This will then give you time to change the colour if you do not like it or if it is not how you intended it to be.
Cutting your hair before the wedding is something that needs to be discussed with your existing hairdresser and the wedding specialist who is doing your hair, if these two people are different.
This is because if your regular stylist cuts too much off your hair then the wedding specialist may not be able to recreate the style you had at your trial.
It is so essential that you only have a little trim if your hair needs it before the wedding day, as opting for a redesign just before the big event can lead to disaster.
If your regular hairdresser is your hair up specialist for the wedding, then you can discuss with them what you need to have done to keep the hair tidy.
Remember, there is always after the wedding if you want that big redesign as a new Mr or Mrs!
